Dr Adam Thompson is President of Doctors of BC for 2026
Dr Sladden is retiring from Courtenay Medical Associates at the end of February 2026. He is no longer accepting referrals.
Courtenay Medical Associates is pleased to announce that Dr Thompson has been elected to serve as President of Doctors of BC in 2026. Doctors of BC is the organization that represents the 17,000 physicians of British Columbia, and also advocates for improvements in healthcare by working in collaboration with government, More information about Doctors of BC is available by clicking here .
Dr Thompson will be working reduced clinical hours in 2026 with support from Drs Chow and Moreton to ensure ongoing access to clinical care for his patients.
He will return to full practice in 2027.
