Hi, I am Chris,

 

I qualified from the Welsh school of medicine in 1992.  I arrived in Canada over 25 years ago, as a general practitioner as a MRCGP (with distinction). I worked as a general practitioner and in the emergency room, in rural British Columbia.  I have been a past examiner for the Canadian family practice exams.

 

I returned to do dermatology residency at UBC Vancouver.

 

Having finished my residency in 2010, I became a board-certified dermatologist in both Canada and the US.  Since that time I have presented papers and lectures both in Canada and internationally, and published in a number of peer-reviewed journals, including on the subject of melanoma.

 

As a bona fide dermatologist, I am proud to be a member of the Canadian dermatology Association, American Academy of dermatology and the European Academy of dermatology & Venereology.

 

I practice both medical and surgical dermatology.  In addition to MSP covered services, I will see patients for non MSP insured services such as skin reviews that are not considered medically needed along with removal of lumps and bumps.
